Whenever I click off the game MCC minimizes and doesn’t show on the task bar. So I can’t pull it back up. All my other games allows me to do it, it’s just MCC. I can’t shut the game off or restart it. I have to fully restart my computer just to restart the game. Is this some stupid new bug or what cause it’s annoying.
Yes it’s a known issue. There’s a long thread on here about it.
You can open task manager and shut it down there when the issue happens.
There are two workarounds offered that may stop the issue happening:
- Start the game, go to Settings, select ‘video’ and set to borderless mode
- In Windows, go to Settings, select ‘System’, then from the menu on the left, select 'Multi-tasking. Under ‘Virtual Desktops’, set both items to ‘All desktops’.

Task manager still doesn’t shut it down. I tried. It doesn’t appear in it.
