After having to uninstall and reinstall the game just to get Halo 3 to install, the game now has its icon missing in the Start menu (when I search for MCC), and when I click on it, a UAC prompt for “Microsoft Store Dependency Installer”, followed by a window that appears for like 1/2 a second with a progress bar that goes nowhere and the text “1 of 1”.
The Windows App troubleshooter isn’t doing anything, neither is Ressetting or Repairing.
I may try uninstalling (which I hate how Windows 10 handles it, as it doesn’t actually uninstall it immediately) and reinstalling again, but other than that I’m at a loss.
Edit: Also just noticed that, on my M drive where the game is installed, there’s two copies of the game. One in \WindowsApps\Microsoft.Chelan_blahblahblah and another in \ModifiableWindowsApps\HaloMCC. Could this have to do with why it won’t launch?
