basically the setup is gaming PC, xbox elite controller (tried different xbox one controller) wired connection to the pc.
as of the most recent season update season 6, almost every match i play, campaign, social matchmaking, ranked, firefight doesn’t matter. every 2 or 3 minutes the controller will disconnect and stop functioning. there is no sound from the pc as if it is loosing a connection but that the controller becomes dead and unresponsive. my character just stops dead. i have tried almost all my USB ports. 2.0, 3.0. and it still happens. if i switch to using the mouse and keyboard perfectly fine. also i have used these controllers on my xbox one and series S and no issues what so ever. i reinstalled the controllers on the pc, reinstalled the game which took forever because windows store throttles the ***** out of downloads which is another rant for another time.
what can be done about this? there seriously needs to be an update or some work around for this. if i play MCC on my xbox no issues, perfect experience. windows 10… forget it. really disappointing.
