Can anyone explain to me why 343 looked at MCC and universally liked systems (bp, MM composer, progression, armor) look at it crumple it up and tossing it for what we have now? Like i love halo, i want to love this game but its getting harder to defend this game man…

Corporate sabotage. It’s the only explanation.
Considering that 343 were the ones that implemented those systems into MCC baffles me even more that they are not in infinite. Since they are widely popular and liked.
For money. The system in MCC is great, but be the system in infinite was cleary made for potential maximum profit. Though the system in infinite is just making people angry and its backfiring on 343. They want people in Infinite to only focus on the paid battles pass for progression. Content is slowly released so people play the game overtime and hopefully spend more money overtime each season.
Well, it’s more than obvious they didn’t look at MC knowing how infinite is designed around the BP/Shop.
Things are the way they are now because their really isn’t any content in this game, but it would have happen whether there was enough content or not. There are 3 things majorly wrong with this game and the higher-ups are the ones to actually blame.
343 from what they said in other words built this game for players that only care about spending money, not a quality type of game. They basically totally blew off the fans that stuck with them for a decade.
They recently literally blamed the community for their deliberate poor actions that happens to be one of the more disrespectful things any company could ever do. On top of that they have a gall to say “they want to communicate” using Staten that pisses me off as bait.
The constant lying because of their broken engine, not having enough manpower has caused more issues for infinite then there ever needed to be.
IMO it’s time for the higher-ups to start acting like an adult and take responsibility for their own actions instead of acting like a child.
never gonna happen, i’m never buying a battlepass, never have and never will. i’d rather grind to unlock cosmetics than pay real money for them, as they are content that’s in the game files, just locked. i only support dlc that is new and has to be downloaded, that is worth buying.
MCC only got good when 343 outsourced the game to third party devs like Splash Damage.
