MCC Update on PCC Microsoft Store

So whenever updates are released, I go to manually install them and I cant find how to do this. I purchased the game via microsoft store and Im not seeing a way to update the game via xbox app or microsft store app! This has left me only to uninstall game and reinstall to get the latest update. This also means that I’m going over on my monthly GB bill. Please help.

Always worth checking your game version to see whether you have the latest version already.

Otherwise:

  1. Open the Store app
  2. Over on the right hand side you’ll see three horizontal dots (…) - click that
    3.From the menu that appears, click ‘Downloads and Updates’
  3. If you don’t see an update there for the game, click the ‘Get updates’ button’

I did that and mcc doesnt show any updates whatsoever. Thank you for the response though

Fixed. I restarted my PC and the update was there. In case anybody is having this issue and googles it to figure it out, all you need to do is restart your pc. Microsoft store/MCC is a bit broken. A reset, thankfully, fixes the game most of the time.
