In all of my life I have never seen any game, ever, have such bad matchmaking balance, I have had to stop playing MCC because, I can not get a single playable game, I just played 8 matches, and I had to quit 7 of them because eather, I had teams so bad that; my team mates, were running into walls, or just plan-simple where bad to the point were they should not have been in matching at all, or on the other hand, I had a game that was 53 to 300 on halo 4 were I had 80% of the kills for my entire team.
I am not blowing this out of proportion 80% of the games I get, are compltely un playable, the worst part is, I am not a good halo player yet I was the only person on about 5 of my games that had any kill at all, so I’m getting people who are just complete garbage.
MCC has this issue chronically, to the point were I am no longer going to play tell its fixed, I have never seen anything like this ever, I had games that were 6 to 30 in under two minutes, at this point, in absolute seriousness, I could not play MCC, even if I wanted to, it is that bad.
We need ranks to make the skill level even in matches
The game needs to be fixed. Like now. You’re telling me a company that supported by Microsoft can’t afford to fix a game months after its release? What a joke.
ya, I mean if this happened only a little it would be ok, but when I get put in on the losing side of a bloodbath 10 games in a row, I get a little upset.

Ranks will not help, because the ranking system in H2A is also broken. In fact it’s useless. 40-50’s can be matched with 1’s. So what’s the point of the ranking system then?
343 needs to figure out how to match players of equal ability in one game, both on your own team and on the opposing team. This is the only way to provide a fair and accurate representation of a single players ability. Right now for instance, the Halo 5’s beta ranking system is so inaccurate, that you will see gold and onyx rated players with negative kda’s and silver rated players with very positive kda’s. I understand that winning and losing is an important component to your ranking, but if you have a negative kda in Slayer, you are in fact hurting your teams chances of winning and if by happenstance your team wins, you should not be gaining level up points.

I tried playing Halo 5 again this morning. It was another lopsided match the other team was all gold, my team one bronze. It was a beat down and reaffirming that Halo isn’t for me anymore.

Well it is a beta so…
I don’t think its bad matchmaking or you.its just the game.Iv been playing most the day going positive on my kd.All of a sudden I have a hard time finding games and not able to kill any one.Im talking KD 5 to 15.other players on the team in the positive.I thought it was my connection .i tested with my meter(Im a tech) and every thing is fine.Its just this -Yoinking!- game.It can turn the best players into the worst.
Halo 5 is in beta stage, but is doesn’t make it any easier for 343 to find constructive criticism when it’s buried by troll posts and report posts.
That being said, halo 5 is only a beta. It is prone to bugs and such.
FIY… the balance issue isn’t only with the beta release of Halo 5… i have noticed horrendous ballance issues with the whole collectors edition… match end should not be a 40+ kill spread!

This is gotten so bad, now I just can’t play anymore, it is every match I play, the game is completely unplayable.
I thought it was only me. I feel better that so many of you are in the same boat. These games are UNPLAYABLE. I literally get spawned then 5 seconds later I get killed by a team of ppl. I was a decent player years ago on halo, and reach matchmaking. Im losing matches 50-9!!! wtf This is awful. I dont need to spend money on xbox live for this crap.
I have a 1.7 k/d ratio and usually go positive even when my team loses so I’m not terrible at this game, however, I do notice the unfair teams in almost every game. It’s almost as if the system intentionally matches a group of highly skilled player’s vs a group of beginners who never played Halo before and this seems to happen frequently. I’m either on the losing team where everyone ends up quitting or I’m on the winning team that completely dominates the other team which is no fun. I miss the good days of halo 3 when teams were balanced and games were always close.
I personally think teams should be formed based on k/d ratios that way beginners will not be matched against experienced players, thus eliminating unbalanced teams. I’ve been in games where the final score was something like 50-10. Hopefully 343 will see this thread and do something about unbalanced teams because this is getting ridiculous.
Also it needs to be fixed that i have to wait 20mins or even longer finding a game! Sometimes it will search and search forever finding no Game at all and that in a list like SWAT!
The Game is out since Months and even it is nice that i get one free Month Xlive Gold,i bought the Game because i wanted to play online,without waiting for an update which makes it playable!
I had to pay immediately to get the Game and not some months later,so i feal misled when i have to wait until im finaly able to get a stable product which i paid for!(it is sold as a full retail and not as Beta or early access!!!)
But now i spend 3 hours searching for games and im actually able playing just 2 games, which are totally unbalanced too!
This is something unbelivable for a Company as big as Microsoft and they should be ashamed selling their Flagship Game in a broken Status,making all their Fans unhappy and reconsidering playing Halo at all! This should be a big,big Warnung sign ,ruining the experience of the Fans from their beloved Halo,which is without doubt the strongest Horse in Microsofts stable! So dont let the Fans get the feeling this Horse now is old,weak and start looking for an alternative,which there are many so…
Pls let us Fans get the Game we deserve and which we paid for!
