I’m trying to work on some of these achievements that require you to beat the campaign on legendary under 3 hours. When I look at my service record to see my times for each level, I see weird numbers. Are the best times recorded as in seconds? I see my best time for Pillar of Autumn recorded as 641.166. Also, are the best times on our service record for legendary or is it any difficulty? I wish I could see my best times for each level on legendary.
I liked the previous service record for MCC much better than the current one. Easier to keep track of par times and scores for legendary.
Not going to lie, I dont think these stats actually function?
The times will show your best regardless of difficulty - the the difficulty column will obviously show your highest completion - I think there are issues with some of these stats though
It’s a bit of a shame that it doesn’t function the way it did on the old site. It was definitely helpful for those sub 3-hour Legendary achievements, but hopefully this functionality (alongside many others that were lost upon the transition to the new site) return. It’s important to note though that the actual stats are tracked properly, just what gets displayed at the moment in your service record on Halo Waypoint site isn’t ideal, especially for this use case.
Yes, the values for the times are listed in seconds now (with milliseconds after the decimal point), which I personally feel isn’t the ideal format.
Upon transitioning to the new site, it seems that the time values themselves were made more accurate and less readable at the same time. The actual values of the times are more accurate in that they now show the amount of milliseconds when previously they did not. This also means that the times that do get listed on your service record are now accurate down to the frame you finished the mission, which I personally think is a definite plus to have.
However, they also seemed to have forgotten (or just simply chosen not) to actual format the values into a proper time format like they used to be. Previously the format was mm:ss, which was fine for the old site, but since the listed time values now actually show the milliseconds as well, I propose that the times get listed in the format of mm:ss.sss. This would make the times just as readable as they once were while also preserving the added accuracy.
As an example, your time of 641.166 would thus be formatted as 10:41.166 if it were (and probably should be) implemented.
