MCC refuses to start after update

ON PC STEAM BTW
Last night (CDT), pretty sure windows did a huge update and added some new features I’m assuming and now whenever I try launching MCC (Steam btw), it’ll go as far as to showing the MCC banner and nothing/quits after that. I did the verification check and even did a quick reinstall with just HCE multiplayer and still nada.

Have you tried going into the files and launching directly from there?

The MCC launcher? Yeah, tried that still nada.

What happens when you try it? Do you get a message at all or does it just refuse to launch?

It does the same thing, MCC banner, disappears, and nothing after. Went on task manager to see if it was still running but its not

I had something similar happen after Halo 2: Anniversary was released for PC, not the exact same, but similar. I will tell you what I did to resolve the situation.

I went into the files and where the launcher is, there were two .dll files. Partywin and partywin7 (or party7), I think (I am not too sure of the exact names). Anyways, mine wasn’t launching because I didn’t have the Party.dll file so I renamed the file that wasn’t Partywin to just Party and the game launched for me afterwards. I haven’t had any problems launching since.

Did your method, it went as far as showing the intro, but crashes whenever it hit the loading screen. No error message, nor log.
