I think that 343 should give us the option of getting a refund. I purchased the store at a big box retailer and would really like the option. Personally, I purchased the game solely for multiplayer. I am not as interested in campaign. It has been two weeks and multiplayer, as all of you know, has been almost unplayable. I have played maybe 5 or 6 games since I bought it the day the game released.
What happened to the good old days when games just worked when you bought them and didn’t need a patch. Is this a result of poor development or maybe an expanded gaming community?
All we need 343/Microsoft to do is offer a refund/exchange program. Sorry guys, we messed up on this one so we are going to do this for you. But they know the reality is that if they offer refunds, they will probably lose millions. Well, they shouldn’t have released a broken game.
At the very least, Microsoft good offer a digital download of other Microsoft Studio games. Id rather just get money back, but I would take that.
Please 343, give us some options or fix the game. Now.
5-6 games? That means you haven’t even been trying to get in a game. And don’t feel so entitled to a refund, a lot of games have had similar failed multiplayer launches recently; It just hasn’t happened to the halo community since Halo 2 so people are freaking out. Just enjoy what’s available on the MCC right now. I still have faith in matchmaking getting fixed and then we can all relax!

Oh, so other games are buggy at release, so that makes this one okay too?
No it doesn’t.
Games never used to be released with these many bugs and be broken to a point its literally unplayable, before they could patch games through online services, games had to work perfectly for release.
Devs/publishers are rushing their games and hoping to patch them later on through online service and we get crappy releases with games that don’t work, this is not okay.
We pay for a product that’s supposed to work, the product doesn’t work as advertised and asking and getting refund is perfectly normal.
i feel his pain, its bs. For me I havent even been able to play 1 single game yet. I let the game sit there all day trying to join a game while I was at work. I got home and nothing, still just searching for players. And to make it even worse, I cant even play the missions. I never got to play halo4 so I got the game for that also, but guess what the missions dont load.
Actually, I don’t want to be refund at all. I want to see the money i paid invested in a REAL GAME REMASTERING ! I want these games all fixed !
And i seriously want to be able to play it co-op through the Live.
We paid for this game, we pay for the Xbox Live, we invested money !
343, microsoft, why don’t you? Fix that lag, fix those bug, fix that insulting piece of garbage you’ve sold.
BUT NO REFUND ! That will be too damn easy to flee !
Old Bungie staff members are propably all crying now.

It has nothing to do with a sense of entitlement. If you want a refund for a broken game you should be able to get one. I had a digital copy and spoke to MS about it and got a refund. I would suggest taking the game to the retailer and returning it as defective and asking if you can have the money back in store credit as most of them will not offer cash back on an open game. Maybe that way you can at least get a game that works!
