Whenever I try looking for a match in matchmaking, the moment it starts connecting to session, it freezes. While the game doesn’t crash, the freeze causes me to miss the match or, when joined up with a friend, be disconnected due to idle. I’ve seen a couple of people with this issue, but no one addressing it. I would appreciate more insight on this. Thank you for reading.
Do you alt+tab out of the game while its loading?
No use. The game is unplayable with friends. That’s the main reason why I bought the game. I hope this gets fixed soon.
Is only Reach affected? What game modes are affected in Reach? Does Co-op Campaign work?
No. I acknowledge that part of the problem might be my internet, but it works wonders on other games. The same result comes up when trying to play H:CE. I’m pretty sure my Co-OP problem is the same as everyone. My friend and I are able to join each other, but the joine has the worst lag ever. Can you try lowering your resolution? I know it sounds odd but it could maybe help.
Same results. It either freezes for a few seconds, sometimes allowing me to enter a match, or just freezes for minutes skipping the match entirely.

I am on the same wifi as my roommate and he doesn’t get the connecting session freeze issue. Why have they not addressed this???
What are the odds I can get my money back if I bought it when MCC first came out on PC? Not to mention they happened to leave out the fact that Halo 3 wouldn’t even be playable for an undisclosed amount of time from when I bought it. This is RIDICULOUS.

What are your specs? Is you turn off Anti-cheat, does that help?

Question, did you play MCC with your account on the xbox version beforehand?

My specs are an 8700k and a 1080ti, 16gb 3200mhz RAM. I have not used the anti-cheat version.
Problem fixed! You might want to disable your current antivirus and turn off relay on the ingame network option
