Is there a way to find matches in H3 Team Hardcore sol que or do I need to have a group? I’ve been searching for 2 days now with no luck. I’m a low rank which I can imagine plays a huge factor. Will the ranks reset at some point? Anything helps, thanks.
The ranks will be reset each time a new season come out.

I don’t think they’re going to reset the ranks. Some people get pretty upset that they have to grind for a 50 again.

<p>hi, I wanted to post the same thing here and this was the 1st one I came across luckily.
I have been searching in Halo 3 team slayer and hardcore for a while now on and off (meaning searching in this playlist every week atleast once)
I can stay in the que for 2 hours and no one will pop up in the search bars<.
Now, I am a lvl 1 in everything but not finding a game ever will also mean ill stay at rank 1.
Is this issue purely a rank issue or is there more to it?
Also, this has been happening for a year now ( omg, im waiting in que now and whilst writing this people have popped up and im in my first game since forever lol)

I would say it’s a rank issue. I didn’t play MCC for a while due to it being constantly down and decided to get on and I’m a lvl 1 in every playlist as well and I just can’t find games. I searched for a while and found one H3 doubles game but ofcourse a player quit and caused his teammate to follow after. I couldn’t find a game after that and decided to get on H5. I’m curious that if I roll with a few ppl my luck will change as well be searching for fewer players. More to follow. Thanks for sharing!

The first season will be about Reach, CE will be the next one. The global rank will not be resetting. The playlist ranks yes. They said in a community update.
This is a quote from June update:
Per-playlist ranks will be the same as they are in MCC currently, but will be reset at the beginning of each new season or if a playlist is added in.

I highly doubt skill ranks will be reset each season. New playlists will obviously start out with fresh ranks but previous and current playlists should never be reset. There would be so much more backlash against 343 if they continue to slap players in the face with resets. So in my opinion they should never reset the skill ranks.

This is correct. Unless you organize a session with a bunch of people, it is almost impossible to find games as a low rank in H3 Team Hardcore.

Do you care about grinding for 50? If not, I suggest pushing for the Custom Game Browser as that will greatly help increasing visibility of finding like-minded players that are within a reasonable distance from you. Matchmaking is brutal for EU players because they seem to only get onto US East, and it also sucks to just endlessly wait without insight to anything.
I kinda did, but Halo 5 just added Team Snipers back into ranked so I might just take the L on MCC. If anything yeah I’ll just role customs or social.
