MCC placing players on the wrong servers

I’m a Brazilian player, and should be placed on South Brazil servers (As indicated by the game itself) when trying to play any Halo. However, everytime i search for any game mode, matchmaking will exclusively make me play on East US servers where my ping is over 100.

This has been an issue ever since i got the game in December and has been making the game unplayable to me. I never had this happen to me in any other game and i’m basically unable to enjoy multiplayer.

I play on Xbox One, if that information helps at all.

That’s often the result of low player counts; if servers close to you don’t have enough players you’ll generally be placed in one that’s further away but more populated.
