So I had bought MCC since early 2020 and with each update my performance gets worse and worse.
I have a GTX 1650 and a i5-4590 so not the best but I did manage to get a solid 200 FPS back when ODST came out on PC.
But I noticed with every update my performance becomes worse for like a day or two on games that are almost decades old now.
IDK why because it is incredibly frustrating playing a game and having it freeze every 5 seconds and having it eat up my power usage and CPU.
Any fixes? I have the games on original graphics quality on every game, and no vsync, since that is the thing that bothered me the most when the Halo 4 update released and i think I don’t need to go any lower since these games came out for systems weaker than mine.

Same here. RTX 3090 4k. anti aliasing even turned off ( I never cared for anti aliasing). 10 fps with only moving my mouse.
Specs:
CPU: AMD RYZEN Threadripper 3990x 64 cores cpu. OC to 4.175 all cores. SMT disabled.
RAM: 256GB (32GB x 8 DIMM) G.Skill Trident Z Neo RGB 3200mhz downclocked from 3600Mhz for stability. QUAD CHANNEL.
GPU: EVGA FTW3 ULTRA RTX 3090 24GB GDDR6X OC latest driver as of January 29 2021

GTX 1650 here, all I do is run discord and talk with a few friends but now discord audio lags
I noticed the same thing and it’s incredibly frustrating. I first noticed it when Halo 4 came out a couple months ago and then again with the update that dropped last Wednesday. I have my game capped to 60 fps since that’s what my monitor is and suddenly, I’m noticing it dipping below that. And there’s very noticeable stuttering. I submitted a ticket to this back in November and I just did it again. It’s really annoying how updates seem to give worse performance. Please do something about this as I shouldn’t be experiencing frame drops and stuttering where I never used to.

I’m glad I am not the only one with this issue, 343 really needs to be called out. I had to uninstall H2 and H2A MP just because I thought my storage space was the problem and that I have downloaded one too many games, but nope

I do not have the best PC lol and when I am in a call with somebody, I cannot hear them for like 15 seconds because i guess it’s hard running discord and Halo after season V

I don’t use a mic I call out on chat in the text box only when I am dead or certain times in game I can type so I don’t know how taxing discord is as a program but regardless of your computers specs if you state it was fine prior that’s weird.
There are issues on Xbox too. Something’s screwed up with 343i’s code. Ever since Reach launched, neither CEA nor H2A have been able to hold a steady framerate. Drops and choppy performance all the time and they refuse to acknowledge this. Sounds like the problem is worse on PC…

IDK about xbox but I’m pretty certain it’s worse on PC.

Looking at this, any average Joe with a computer can play MCC on PC but I can’t imagine something like that when 30 FPS Is the best our PCs can compute

It worked like butter on a pan before.
I think it kind of got better over time, this happened to me when H4 released, and the my framerate slowly but surely got better and better.
I’m not a tech guy so IDK how that even works
H2A loading times haven’t gotten any better tho.
