Hi guys. MCC on widows 7 through steam was working well up until the latest halo 3 update. I am now faced with the contacting server for latest matchmaking data issue. I tried all the fixes posted on forums such as signing out of my Microsoft account and back in, reinstalling the game fully, turning off the network proxy etc. Still not able to connect. When I hit the start button the season two box stays greyed out and that seems to be a clue as to what’s going on but I am at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I find it odd that the game was working fine for me up until the latest update.
Been having this problem for the last 48 hours and have been reading around online. No one can seem to figure out what is causing the problem or how to fix it. I just got a response on Twitter after asking about it.

I am having the same issue. Also running Windows 7.
Tried logging out and logging back in. Tried logging into a completely different account. Tried uninstalling and redownloading/reinstalling all of MCC in Steam.
Opened a support ticket on 7/14. Got a “response” 7/15 saying I will get an “update”. Nothing yet as of 7/16 and no indication as to how long I have to wait.
I have the same issue. Were you guys having this problem prior to the Halo 3 update? I haven’t played since Reach but I was able to get multiplayer to work back then.
