Is anyone having issues with patches installing very slow via steam? The download goes as quickly as expected but once the download is complete there appears to be no disk utilization (according to Steam) and the estimated time to complete just continually increases, then will drop down to a few seconds, then continually increase again. It eventually completes after about 15 minutes. I have had this issue on today’s (12/16/2020) patch and the previous patch. Just wondering if this is expected behavior or not
I have the same issue and on top of that downloads take a long time too, from getting a healthy download speed it stops all of a sudden. This is the only game Ive had issues with.
For the most part, my download speed behaves as usual. Sometimes it’ll stop and appear to be installing something. The disk usage will spike up and my download speed will go to 0 and that’ll happen for a few minutes then it goes back to downloading as usual. I guess it’s intended behavior but this is the only game that behaves this way when it comes to installing patches for me as well
I seem to be having the same issue as well and it’s a year later now, for season 8 it took me around 4 hours to download when it got too 100% it would reset download again, saying updating, Patching, installing then repeating around in a cycle until it finally installed, how strange???.
