MCC ON STEAM WINDOWS 7 DLL ERROR

I’m unable to launch MC on Steam and I’m getting the same error everytime.

I’ve tried disabling firewall, restarting my computer, getting the latest graphics card update and uninstalling the game. None of those have seemed to help.

The error reads: MCC-Win64-Shipping.exe - Entry Point Not Found. The procedure entry point EventSetInformation could not be located in the dynamic link library ADVAPI32.dll.

Please help.
