Hello,
For the past month, I have had issues with staying connected to matchmaking games (Firefight, Multiplayer) but Co-op campaign works fine.
The games will load perfectly fine, and I can play for almost exactly halfway through the game. I will then go to a black screen, with the scoreboard displayed.
It looks similar to when you change hosts or servers, but then it will boot me to a loading screen and say the connection was interrupted.
If I load a solo game, I have only been able to fully complete about 1/6 games, which is sadly higher than playing with friends, and this is usually only if the game ends fairly quickly.
I have tried this with multiple games (I have the game pass, so plenty of opportunity to test matchmaking issues) and have zero problems elsewhere. This has been strictly a MCC exclusive issue (thankfully). I have tested my internet connection outside the Xbox as well as with the Xbox, and uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I even tested it with the AutoHDR options enabled and disabled, to not avail. I still have my One X, and I do not have the same issues as with the Series X.
I reached out to HaloWaypoint official support and they said it did not sound like a game issue and more of a ISP / Xbox issue…
Has anyone else have this problem and/or have any resolution? Any help would be greatly appreciated… thanks in advance!
