Whenever I try to matchmake I either get the old “downloading matchmaking data” message or get dumped out after ~20s of searching for a game. Tried a few playlists, including Team Slayer which I guess is the most popular?
Hard reset game. Hard reset box. Disconnected and reconnected network.

Thus is the way of Halo MCC, unfortunately. I know one of the major issues is their set up in comparison to certain internet providers. We should get a group going and party up and hope that helps us out? If not, go original Halo 2 route and start doing some custom games?
I’m actually not so into Halo 2. Halo 3 GotY every year since 2007! But I’ll try party up with some friends when I’m free and let you know if it helps, and could possibly party up to help you. My problem is that the matchmaking system isn’t actually working, not just that their aren’t any games.

Did you try uninstall/reinstall? Do other games work for you?
Other games do work mostly, though I have a shoddy internet service. Certainly not one I want to try and re-download all of MCC again if there is another option!

You have a digital copy I assume?
