MCC Main Menu Consistent Crashes

Ive been having a strange issue where i will load up MCC everything will load perfectly until i start up the main menu and then it crashes always. Im not sure why or how its happening but ive tried all the solutions you could think of and it still doesnt work. Ive never really had any crash related problems beforehand and this coming out of nowhere for the past 3 days now is frustrating. Hopefully it is just a momentary problem but if not i have no idea on how to fix it.

Second or third thread about this in these days: I do not think there is a specific solution. I think you just have to wait for an update or a patch. Anyway, you can try to disisnstall and reinstall the game ( ling and annoying ) or going to your xbox home when you press start. I noticed that goinng to xbox home helps mcc loading certain parts

Unfortunately I complained about this same issue months ago, 343 is in no hurry to fix it, we havent had a real patch in months, all we get is multiplayer updates

Been dealing with this for months. Only solution I have is to restart console; the game would only not crash if it was the first and only game opened after a fresh restart. (I leave the console on energy-saving now so that it always can start fresh). This comes with a multitude of other issues which cause crashing and once or twice, my game will stop loading a mission then cause my console to turn itself off…annoying stuff. Hope it gets dealt with, it is no longer just a handful of people who are affected

I had the same “problem” when I launched Halo: MCC on PC. I just left it “frozen” for a minute and then it “unfroze” and all was right in the Halo world. I hope it’s as simple as this for everyone else :crossed_fingers: that may be having a similar issued on PC. Good luck :four_leaf_clover:!
