Why is there a kick for being idle when in a lobby!? Im not going to do anything while waiting for a game. Its so stupid.
Yeah, it happend to me once.
They added an ‘automatical’ research after a game is finished, so that idle players can actually still play some games in a row if the connection is fast enough; but I get kicked if my connevtion sucks and it takes 10 min for a research
Are you being kicked for idle while searching in matchmaking?
I have had some issues. Make sure that there are no other gamertags signed in, I have a suspicion that those can appear to be idle players.

You might be right: I use to play split screen and we obbiously use only one controller to see carnage report and start the research. Maybe it happened that one of the two controllers hadn’t been used for a while even if the the other was.
my internet connection is pretty solid.
I got kicked from a match that was about to load because the game was searching for over 10 minutes and I hadn’t moved my controller or pushed any buttons during that time.
It thinks you are idle.
I really hope this is an issue they address in the next update. Since the population is so low, it’s takes a long time to find matches. You shouldn’t be kicked for Idling if you initiated a matchmaking search.

Stupid, exactly.
Are we suppose to perform StreetFighter2 moves, wiggle the stick, mash the button 40 times combo during a search???
We search therefore we wait.
Meanwhile i get teammates AFK for 12 minutes, other team gets free kills or im at a disadvantage because we’re a man down in an objective match all because that’s acceptable, right?.
