MCC Issues - SOLUTIONS

I open this topic to give a few suggestions to all those who have problems with the MCC.

These solutions are useful to all those who find:

  • Freeze of the game - Achievements not released - Endless loading screens - Crash of the game - Crash of the menus - Corrupts savefiles - Network errors
Let’s see what can be done and what are the redundant advice.

1. Freeze of the game
In these cases the best solution is always to press the xbox button on the controller, select the MCC and force it to close.
If this is not enough and the MCC does not want to start, carry out a soft reset of the console by keeping the xbox button on the machine pressed while the console is switched on until it switches off. At this point, turn the console back on and restart the MCC.

2. Achievements not released
This is a common problem (like many others in the MCC, unfortunately) and it is about errors and lack of synchronization with Halo Channel and its profile. Often it is enough to reopen Halo Channel, forcibly close the MCC, reopen it and find its objectives unlocked. Sometimes you need to soft reset the console, but in principle there is no real solution, as it is a server-side error, not a local one. The only solution is to wait for it to be unlocked by itself

3. Endless loading screens
This is a problem similar to the number 1 on the list.
The solution, then, is always to press the xbox button on the controller, select the MCC and force it to close.
If this is not enough and the MCC does not want to start correctly, carry out a soft reset of the console by keeping the xbox button on the machine pressed while the console is switched on until it switches off. At this point, turn the console back on and restart the MCC.

4. Crash of the game | 5. Crash of the menus | 6. Corrupts savefiles
In all these cases the solution, unfortunately, is almost always the same. First I would advise you to try the solutions mentioned above anyway, but if it does not work … well …
The only solution could be to completely delete the MCC from your HDD and re-download it. If the problem is attributed to a single game in the collection, you can only cancel and download it, thus saving time.

7. Network errors
For all those network problems concerning disconnections, impossible matchmaking, expulsions from matches, falls of connections in the game, inability to synchronize files, etc. the solution that I found was always to try to connect to the services of the MCC with another network, in particular using a hotspot with mobile data.
Network problems can result not from the MCC and it is good to try using another connection before proceeding with the usual remediation attempts.
If the problems persist, the solutions may reside as written earlier in this topic.

If you want to help the topic be more complete I am open to suggestions and other solutions that you have found useful. I hope I have been helpful

We have dedicated threads for a lot of these issues already. Adding another is not really necessary.
