MCC is frozen on planet and music.

All I have is the video of the planet spinning and music. I can’t get to any menus or anything. Just frozen. I’ve restarted my Xbox, taken the disc in/out several times. Anyone else getting nothing either? Please help.

I just tried uninstalling all from the Xbox menu, but it wouldn’t let me do anything. Anything I can do?

After its stuck pull up the option menu that has quit at the bottom. Rinsert repeat til it gets past that screen.

same here… Have tried two different physical copies. tried to uninstall, sign off and on, remove and reinstall, No dice. I can understand having difficulties in matchmaking blah blah blah. But to buy a game (twice) and it wont even load? Cant even try it? Searched the forums a bit and I guess the servers are having a hard time keeping up (Like when destiny came out)… I have owned this game four days and CANT. EVEN. FRIGGIN. PLAY. IT.

343 please maybe try and give the fans a clue this other issue is being worked on? pretty please?

I can’t believe I can’t even uninstall it. I could take my console back to factory settings, but I’ll lose my save games on my other games. Such a joke that it is an option I’m considering.

I am having the same problem, it just freezes at the damn menu with the planet animating and the music playing but otherwise is completely locked up. I have tried:

  • Force quitting the game by pressing the Xbox button and then on the home screen pressing Menu->Quit.- Power cycling the console.- Applying the latest update.- Going offline (figured there might be some blocking condition on reaching the server).None of this is effective. The game is totally unplayable now for me.

343 needed another year to work on Halo MCC…

Yup, same issue here. I wasn’t having any dramas (except for matchmaking of course), and now that the matchmaking is fixed, I go on to play and it won’t even start. -.-
I’m a massive Halo fan, have been since Halo: CE… and this is just disappointing.

When this happened to me I did a hard reset on my Xbox ( unplugged for about 10 seconds then plugged back in) allowing it to completely shut down. When I started it back up it was working fine. To hard reset you can also hold the power button down for about 8-10 second . I did read that someone tried this when it happened to them and it didn’t solve their problem though.

I had this also, just have to dashboard and restart the client.
