MCC installation glitch?

So ive recently moved from an Xbox One to a Series S but suddenly the MCC is telling me i do not own Halo Reach… which is the main game ive been playing for about 3 years. When i first moved from xbox one to the xbox one S it did the same thing so i purchased both reach and odst a second time on top off MCC but every time i move console they seem to not be valid? are these purchases console locked? Also i dont understand why both odst and reach have “gamepass” on their individual tags if they dont seem to be covered by the game pass?
Im not really keen to purchase a 3rd copy of both these games.
Just to clarify i currently have gamepass ultimate, MCC itself (halo / 2/2A / 3 / 4) work just fine with no issues

Any info around this problem is highly appreciated

Here’s how idigital licenses work.

  • If you are the main subscriber to gamespass you can play the MCC and all of its DLC on any Xbox given that you are connected to the internet. The license is associated with your account, but can only be verified with an internet connection. If your internet frequently drops, you will be kicked out of playing the game saying you don’t have permission to play it. - There is a second license that is associated with your home console. Your account can only be associated with 1 home console at a time. Gamespass is shared with all accounts on the Home console and an internet connection is not required. You can play digital games offline on your home console. You can change your home console about twice a year so do so with caution.Given the information above, it seems you may not have changed your home console. Try setting the Xbox Series S as your home console and hard reset it afterwards. I haven’t bought reach, but it’s included in gamespass and I’ve been able to play it across 3 Xbox’s.
