So I had a thread a few days ago, expressing how displeased I was about Helioskril variants being unlocked through the REQ system, rendering the MCC grind pointles, to wich supporters of 343I’s idea quickly countered my point by saying “Oh but it is only the variants, you guys get to keep the MCC one exclusive to your selves, so what is the big deal?!”

Yup now please keep on defending this, now I really hope, Achilles is added through Req’s later on too, after all, the grinds shouldnt matter and people that went through it should just accept it, it is not a big deal after all.

Reqs ruined Halo. Helioskrill & Achilles are the only armor pieces you can actually earn. Everything else is just stupid RNG. My friends got Helioskrill about a week and a half ago and now that work they put in was worthless.
It was already said back when Helioskrill was shown that it’d be available through the REQ system.
Quit making such a big deal out of it.

I never said it affected me, it however does bother me that an Armor that was suppsoed to be obtained by doing a specific task, in this case beating the buggy mess that is MCC on legendary is suddenly available for everyone.

Yet it was removed (as confirmed by people that had all armors except Helioskril) that it could not be obtained any other way, why would they remove it then? they should of left it there from the beginning, they removed it so people would grind MCC.

Or maybe it was bugged, dropping too often etc, who knows, fact is, it’s now in the reqs system, happy days.

While unconfirmed, it was said there was a bug that caused the armor not to be unlocked.

I need source for this, because we had at least 2 of the “free” updates roll out without the “bug” being addressed, but when the “vairants” drop then what a coincidence, the “bug” is fixed.
The Helioskrill helmet looks terrible anyway. Get over it.
