MCC has one of the worst matchmaking systems known to mankind

title is pretty self explanatory, when mcc first released a few years ago and finding a match at all was impossible, i guess 343 threw a bunch of garbage mechanics together as quickly as possible to form the worst matchmaking ive ever seen in all my years of playing halo. i don’t understand how 343 expects us to unlock our challenges such as winning games or being one of the top 3 players on the scoreboard. and then proceed to pit newer players against sweatheads who haven’t seen the light of day since 2007. either you stomp the heck outta the enemy team, or you get stomped, and most of the time you get stomped. there’s also the stupid matchmaking ban. sometimes my internet disconnects just for giggles and I’m involuntary kicked from the game. and i can’t even play custom game browser while I’m banned, not to mention the community’s attitude towards people who “”“quit”"". you’re Wi-Fi gives up and all of a sudden you’re the scum of the earth who doesn’t even deserve basic human necessities like water or food. i just want a matchmaking system to be implemented where i can finish a match and say “that was fun”. but 343 is too busy overmonitizing cosmetics for infinite so i’ll just keep dreaming.

if you took the time to read my rant then thanks a lot.

Exactly how I feel as well. Haven’t touched multiplayer in a couple of weeks now, outside of firefight. I swear, I find doing LASO easier than a 4v4 “social” match. I am not even kidding.

A lot of people ditched the MCC primarily because of how unpleasant the multiplayer became
If you are looking for more casual games you will most likely find it in the custom games, that’s where everyone is

I don’t think it’s the MCC’s overall matchmaking system is bad, but it’s ban system is dog buns.

MCC Matchmaking is built off of the bad foundation of the original MCC Matchmaking, which itself was consolidating all the games under one roof like a plug n play. Though they made great steps to alleviate the issues, they can never truly go away and people know that.
