Playing in matchmaking, I experience at least two hard crashes an hour after updating to Season 6 on the Xbox One S. I have been lucky enough to rarely experience crashing of any kind until now. Been playing since launch. Happens a few seconds into a match. Screen freezes, audio continues for a few seconds, then console completely shuts off. The controller won’t even turn it back on. I have to manually power it back up afterwards.

My best suggestion is that you should to turn off your skins if you are playing H3 or CE.
When i was playing with them on, i crashed several times, most of times when i had a ghost close to me (HCE).
Strange the issue sounds very similar to my own issue on the XSX. I was playing Halo 4 dominion in ranked and I nearly finished the match then my game went black but could do still hear audio then it crashed my game. I haven’t had any console crash’s but my game would refuse to work since it would keep crashing till I did a full console reset.
I’d like to echo the recommendation to file a ticket on the support site. Myself and several others are experiencing this and I hope it is addressed soon.
I keep checking the open issues but do not see it listed which worries me, but a Support Agent on the support site gave me the workaround to disable skins so 343i must be aware.
Hopefully it is able to be rectified via a hotfix as I would love to re-enable the new skins soon.
