This evening I started the Halo 4 campaign co-op legendary to get some achievements. Well things didn’t go as planned.
You see, we just started so we were still on Dawn, we made it to the missile launch panel and pressed the button and all went fine right.
Next we went to go and move that clamp (if you will call it that) it triggered the cut-scene as usual, but what happened during the cut-scene was rather unusual.
The game decided to freeze at the part where John is looking at the covenant cruisers near requiem, it also had this terrible unwanted audio playing a repeated buzzing noise. After a few seconds the game crashed on us, so we rebooted the game thinking maybe things would work as planned. Wrong, we went into a custom games lobby (Blood line, Snipers) with just the two of us and about a minute in I went and zoomed in for the head shot and managed to get the kill but, it resulted with another game freeze, bad audio, and a crash.

After that we tried another match (Ascension, Snipers) and we managed to get 2 minutes in and then another game freeze etc.

You can probably see what I’m getting at hear.

343 didn’t you even play test for bugs besides halo 2 anniversary with the MLG teams? Didn’t you even try playing the through the entire campaigns and test this stuff.
As a game developer it is your duty to make a game, and test the hell out of it.

And most of all, don’t become a Bungie where you ship incomplete games (Destiny)

The Chief collection was not incomplete but not tested.

343 I’m no hater, this are just my thoughts that I think you need to consider, you need to use the knowledge of the fans and your customers.

I have had so many issues with the Halo 4 campaign. Of course all of it didn’t help while I was playing legendary solo. I’ve had several game freezes, the black screen which shows that error with the red letters in one of the corners, maps not even loading and constant checkpoint freezes (such as placing cortana in a terminal which doesn’t even raise above the floor).

After the campaign update I only had one freeze and one cortana terminal not pop up. Also, the game decided not to count some of the missions that I completed solo legendary before the update. Even though i unlocked the achievement for beating all the levels on legendary, I apparently didn’t beat them all on solo legendary.

This is the pride and joy of my campaign trip.

I couldn’t get past this part after attempting it 3 times (2 legendary and 1 on easy) until the update came through. I’d say I’ve done 20+ mission only to complete the 8 that are in the game. Not fun but it’s all done for now.

I actually just finished the halo 3 campaign on legendary co-op and it didn’t register in game that I completed it even though I unlocked an achievement at the end of every level.
