In the Pax Prime panel it was confirmed that your Halo 3 and Halo 4 progress in MP will NOT carry over into the Xbox One MCC, but your forge maps / game types will.
My question pertains to special Armor DLC. I wear the Fotus armor because I have the Halo 4 xbox. Will armor like this carry over into / or be available in Halo 4 MCC MP. The same goes for other specific DLC armors and armors like the Recon (which I bear on my Halo 3 profile).
This decision is quite unfortunate, and it sucks because of all that time that has to be ‘redone.’
In the IGN demo, they brought up the customization screen and one guy had FOTUS armor on. I really hope its in for everyone, personally. I’d also like my HAZOP Forest camo and Arctic-skin Battle Rifle. But I don’t think they’ve confirmed anything about exclusive armors.

Your Fotus armor and Recon will both be available In MCC. i watched the 2 hour live stream that Ryan McCaffrey did with members of 343 and Max Hoberman. they showed off the customization a little bit there. when they say that TMCC will come with ALL DLC EVER RELEASED they mean ALL of it. that includes armor.

That’s a relief, I really loved the Deadeye armor, one of my favorite helmets in H4.

As for your questions, last I checked, there was no confirmation on how the armour would work in the MCC. However, from what we’ve seen, the pre-order and limited/console edition armours will be available to the players. As for DLC, nothing’s been said yet either. One can hope and assume that it will be available, but the truth is that we just don’t know yet.

I was watching the Pax Prime Panel on youtube (the one hosted on the Halo Youtube Channel) and there was mention how those games/maps carry over since they are considered part of the multiplayer experience. From this I could not give you a specific time since I don’t mark those down for myself.
I appreciate all the answers and discussion. I hope they discuss this topic sooner than later.
I don’t need ‘my armor’ , I just want my Fotus (H4) and Recon (H3) and I’m glad that we can assume we will have them. Since those have meaning to me. One being Recon that I earned way back when in Halo 3.
