MCC gun audio bugs?

The ones I’ve encounted make H2A almost intolerable to play. But its not the only game in the collection I have had audio issues with. Please note I am running 7.1 surround sound if that makes a difference. Here are the bugs I’ve had:

H2A: during online matches gun audio is all over the place. For example: using the “noob” combo, I can barely hear ethier gun ( sometimes none at all) and when the smg reloads there is no sound attached to it at all. The BR every so often has no audio for each shot and/or reloading.

HCEA:On 343 guilty spark when you first encounter the flood ,when there is no music for a few seconds or anything, none of my guns would make noise the rest of the level. It was a drag.

So I really don’t know what the deal is. It sounds (or feels like to me) the game runs out of audio channels. The glitches in H2A multi-player are significantly more prominent when they are other people shooting/general game noise happening.

Anyone else have the same problem?

Yes, I’ve experienced the H2A reloading audio bug pretty much every match and 90% of the time I reload. I’ve experienced the same bug in HCEA 343 Guilty Spark. H3’s campaign audio is way off too, gun firing sounds are far too low (a bit off-topic but the brightness is messed up as well… too high). So yeah there’s plenty of audio bugs across this game and no single patch so far has fixed any of them…

Thank god im not the only one. I was really worried. And yeah halo 3s brightness is way to high. Never noticed that.

Shameless bump. This needs to be adressed.

Bump again.

Come on 343… Get it together!

I agree with all of this including H3’s brightness.

Usually when I reload with the BR it makes no sound

I’m playing the Halo: CE level 343 Guilty Spark. The guns made their usual sounds up until the cinematic where Chief watches Jenkins’ helmet cam footage, but as soon as that ends, there are no firing sound effects any more. Reloading sounds still play, and there are no other audio issues.

Saving/Quitting back to the level select menu, then resuming the game seems to fix it, but I’m not sure how long that will last.
