I unistalled halo about a month ago, and when i reinstalled it all of my saved forge maps where gone. In every game. I probably had over 40 maps in total, and i am distraught. I dont know what to do. If someone knows how i can get my maps back, do tell.
Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear that. Did you back up anything onto other profiles or public file shares? If someone else has downloaded them, you should be able to get them back.
I dread this happening to me every day, so I always back up my stuff to alternate profiles and external hard drives.
I know what it’s like to lose hard work. It’s a truly dreadful feeling. Hope you get them back.
No, i didnt on any of the maps. But i definetley will from now on. I had so many maps. Some with a lot of sentimental value. I made a really good infection one and i played 4 player split screen with my friends. Reaally sucks. Thanks for the help, i guess.
This happened to me too. All my maps are gone. I spent so many hours making some beautiful maps for Halo 2, and they are all gone.
This is so upsetting. I never liked the fact that the Xbox One provides no ability to backup my maps to a thumb drive. I always backup my Xbox 360 maps to thumb drives and I never had an issue on that platform. Now I never know if I spend hours on a map if it will disappear. Extremely frustrating.
This is just a warning to others. Don’t rely on the cloud. Your maps may disappear without warning.
This happened to me too! Haven’t played for a bit and all my maps have somehow disappeared! Anyone find a solution?
