Halo mcc halo 2 anniversary keeps force closing

-the level is gravemind
-it’s on legendary
-split screen
-scarab skull is on
-this has happened both times I’ve tried it

Using a headset adapter on the controller
I pressed RB to pick up a Needler and the second I pressed it the game force quit to the Xbox home screen. Upon clicking back onto the game, the game rebooted instead of starting where I left off.
it was like a crash except the game instantly went black and minimised to the Xbox home screen instead of freezing like a normal crash.
It’s worth noting the unlike triple 259772 this problem didn’t reoccur when I picked the Needler up the second time
Nevermind it’s gone now, it finally worked the third time.
I cant even get past pillar of autumn without thegame crashing
This has happened to me countless times. It also happens in multiplayer fairly regularly. I tried reinstalling the game to no avail.
