It doesn’t need to be added to MCC on PC, i’d buy it as a standalone port on PC. I’m willing to buy all of of the MCC and Halo 5 on PC. I want them all so bad.
It makes no sense to me why they wouldn’t add Halo 5 (or ODST’s Firefight) to PC when it’s the only game they need to complete the whole franchise being on PC and especially when Halo 6 is coming to PC. There’s going to be a big gap in the story line for PC gamers who are going to become Halo fans. Even if Halo 5’s story flopped it seems weird not to include it. Even with the story being meh, the multiplayer and forge is extremely well done and I want it on PC too. Halo 5 Forge doesn’t count as it’s poorly optimized and tends to crash every few matches.

However, it seems to me that (unfortunately) 343’s decreased focus on Halo 5 (and thus the less likelihood of it coming to PC in a near future) is part of their overall strategy of being (perceived as being) receptive to players’ opinions.
Granted, being receptive to players’s opinions is a good thing but in the case of Halo 5, the cool opinion to have seems to be that Halo 5 doesn’t feel like Halo, is too much CoD, has a lot of non-pro friendly features such as AR loadout, ground pound and clambering, as well as having had quite a few issues at launch which in general associates Halo 5 with bad vibes and the company that 343 tries so hard not to be today.
Personally, I think that Halo 5 is the perfect multiplayer game (can’t say that the campaign is my favorite), especially if you are like me - a casual player playing on a high gold to low diamond level depending on form. I can’t of course speak for high level players but AFAICT the HCS settings seem to (even more so) favor skill over luck and is highly enjoyable to watch, with players like Frosty making insane plays and map movement.
I don’t want to hijack the thread for discussing the pros and cons of Halo 5 but I sincerely hope that I’m wrong and that PC players will get to enjoy Halo 5 the way I have done (and that Infinite will include the features that make Halo 5 such a fantastic experience to play).

If it’s going to be anything like MCC on pc They’ll seperate the online campaign from the story to maximize play status
