343 you have to fix the framerate. Given we’re looking at several months of self-isolation due to the coronavirus, now is not the time to have a broken game!

hey fam, just my monthly hope that you can re-add the game timer in my friend’s ‘in game sessions’ so I can see how much time is left in their games.
But I’ll accept you guys adding Uncaged into the Snipers playlist as a damage deposit. 
Bugs:
In Reach at least, when you get a perfection, the medal and the voice announcer guy don’t pop up at the end of the game.
you still see the medal with the other medals in the post game stats, but it’s not the same as hearing the man himself and seeing the medal pop up once you hit Game Over. :’(
Why does it take so long to find matches in everything?? No more double EXP, you guys could make double EXP weekends for the people who don’t play this game all day everyday. You guys broke invasion to the point you can only find games consistently if you search in 3’s. Can’t even play with your friends anymore, which takes all the fun away. BTB takes forever to find games as well. There are a plethora of things you guys could add to this game to make it more enjoyable but you ignore the people. You broke Halo again. This was supposed to be better than the original release debacle, but sadly you guys have disappointed us again. Halo is dead and unplayable, can’t enjoy playing this game anymore. This sucks. This game blows.
can I ask those that have framerate issues a few questions. are you playing the digital version or do you have the physical copy in your Xbox? are you on the Xbox one x or regular Xbox one? monitor or tv?

Mostly H2A. Abysmal performance on X1X where the framerate drops in half or more all the time with or without any encounters. Even the very first encounter in H2A makes it tank. How have you not picked this up yet? This happened as soon as Reach became a part of MCC on Xbox. There are LOADS of threads and tickets being created for this since over three months back. Fix asap! It’s unplayable. Used to run great between 50-60fps in all campaigns on X1X before Reach.

Doesn’t matter. In the end it’s installed in the exact same way. Your screen also doesn’t matter since all games always run at their highest internal resolution independently from the output resolution of your screen. For example: On X1X MCC runs at 4K even if you have your tv/monitor set to output 1080p. It just downsamples (makes it fit) the image. Only thing that could affect the framerate on the screen is the refresh rate. For me it’s awful on both 60Hz and 120Hz. Issue is most likely their strange attempt at using UE4 for the menus on top of the other engines which then is probably eating up resources like crazy. Or rather obviously.

Yeah, this is awful. Years were spent fixing the thing only to break it worse than ever. The most frustrating thing about this collection is the lack of communication though. It doesn’t matter how many times you report something all we’re given is “we’re aware of the issue” and then we just have to wait and hope that it’s one of the thing that eventually gets addressed.
Meanwhile we’re still waiting for things that 343 have apparently been aware of for over a year to get fixed. This is Microsoft’s flagship ip and yet this is how it’s being handled. And when things do get fixed we then have to worry they aren’t immediately broken again.

MCC HALO GAME: Halo 2 Classic - FEEDBACK:Shooting the BR is painful to the ears, the sound effect is massive in comparsion to everything else and makes playing with headphones on very difficult. When shooting you cannot hear anything else. - ADDITIONAL INFO: N/A
I have 2 boxes hooked up hardwired on same network and we can not play matchmaking. Kicks one or the other just as the game starts.

Except for this issue they haven’t even told us that they know about it. Only performance issue they acknowledge is in regards to the damn menu. This is laughable and I’m getting really sick of it not being addressed. Might as well ditch the Xbox completely and resort to piracy on pc and brute force the performance. MS won’t give me a refund for it. You can’t play it or revert it to a working state. Good job giving a hoot about fans and customers.
What’s with firefight?
It always starts with the worst modes; fistfight or fiestafight, and often coupled with the worst map waterfront. I always drop out of those because I dont find them fun at all.
The only mode I want to play is arcadefight but that rarely shows up. How about adding it to the choose game type screen.
All MCC games:
I’ve seen that you’ve finally acknowledged and added the severe Xbox performance issues to the list of known issues which is a relief. I love that Reach joined MCC, but the fact that ever since it was released all the other games have severely suffered (at least CEA and H2A) and this has been going on since December. That’s not ok. I’ve made sure to create my own threads, tickets and update the threads about the same issue created by others like mad over here the last week just to raise awareness. Even though loads of others already have since back in December.
The obviously biggest issue here seem to be a lack of fundamental testing before pushing updates on us. At least between the two platforms. You HAVE to make sure something so important like performance isn’t affected negatively in such a drastic way when you decide to force updates on us. With a strong emphasis on the word should you should really consider implementing the ability to revert to the previous or a couple of older versions of the game. Onbboth Xbox and PC. If it means I can at least save one portion of the game when something like this happens I’ll gladly take it over having all modes available,but with some of them broken.
During all this time it’s been and still is impossible to play CEA and H2A on X1X at least and since we as the end users can’t do anything about it the game is useless to us. All I’ve wanted to play on my Xbox recently is CEA and H2A in single player, but not being able to and without getting a response on the matter until just now shows the biggest con of digital distribution there is; We can’t do anything to restore our game to a working state on our own. We’re left with a non working product.
Another thing that might be very useful for future updates would be if you added a video replay feature like in Halo 3 multi-player for all the games for all modes that only keeps track of object coordinates etc. and then renders it in real-time, but with a framerate and frametime monitor on top so it’s easy to see if it happens again. This would also allow you to pinpoint the exact circumstance under which it occurs. Something that would probably save you a lot of work.
So firstly thanks Jmandude15 for directing me here to suggest my feedback! while the thread is still up just to be safe i figured id post it again here just in case!
I suggested that 343 should make it so console players can adjust the placement of the reticle in the Halo games. I said in the thread that PC users have the ability to do this, in reach for example its not in the center of the screen, its actually a bit below the center, unlike Halo CE and Halo 5 where its in the center, PC users can change this but us on Xbox cannot. Giving Xbox players the ability to pick which style we want to use would be a great addition!
Only frame rate needs to be fixed rn, who else would like to see h3 odst firefight make a return?
Fix the announcer not shouting perfection at the end of a Reach Slayer game when you achieve one.
And where is Uncaged??? It literally hasn’t shown up for weeks. Surely it can’t be that low in weighting or I be that unlucky.
