Does the MCC have an auto drift because when I lower my deadzone to 0, I get a drift is this an issue with my controller or the game. I know on Gears it happens and I have to go to 6% so I don’t get this drift.
Edit:
I don’t think people get what I am asking, lets make this more clear. If you put your “Look Deadzone” in the MCC to 0 or 0%, do you get a drift. Then move it up until your camera stops drifting and post something along this line to give me… Example:
I got drift and when I turned the deadzone up to 6% it stopped.orI didn’t get drift at all. Your controller is faulty.PLEASE NOTE WHAT CONTROLLER YOU HAVE
It is purely the controller. Most games have a set dead zone and will not allow you to change it. While Halo 5 and MCC will let you adjust the dead zone. I have mine at 10% because 0 to 5 still have drift.

Yes, in H5 though, I play on a 0% both deadzones and get no drift but when I made the transition to MCC, I get drift.

Yes, I understand that but I am trying to see whether I need to send my controller back

Your best bet would be to plug it in to a computer then use a program that allows you to see axis movements.

I don’t think people get what I am asking, lets make this more clear. If you put your “Look Deadzone” in the MCC to 0 or 0%, do you get a drift. Then move it up until your camera stops drifting and post something along this line to give me…
Example:
I got drift and when I turned the deadzone up to 6% it stopped.
or
I didn’t get drift at all. Your controller is faulty.

If you want, you can even edit for first post and put this text below your original - so new people coming into the thread see this info right away.

No problem, unfortunately sometimes the copy/past function in these forums doesn’t work so well and screws up spacing and formatting.
See you first post again. You might need to play around with adding extra punctuation marks to single lines like so"

Good luck!
It’s your controller. I also get drift and all the games aren’t equal dead zone settings, but that doesn’t mean your controller is bad. I wouldn’t be surprised if a new controller has a little bit of drift in it from the get go. MCC is just a lot more sensitive compared to H5.
Using a dead zone of 0 is just dumb and it appears that MCC allows you to set it to actual zero. He’ll, one side of your controller being slightly warmer than the other will cause a drift at that sensitivity. I have an elite controller two and 2% is the min I’ll use for any game. I could spend hours time tuning the springs to make it absolutely perfect, but like I said, the heat from your hands will warp the springs enough to change the zero state.
btw, the elite controllers app on the Xbox can show you exactly what your sticks are doing.
