So my friend just got the game pass thru the discord nitro thing, and tried downloading the mcc but it got stuck in a loop of changing to queue to downloading 0% in fast succession. he tried it in both the ms store and xbox store.
He tried this thing I found for him in a reddit post:

- open windows app store (microsoft store) - log out from your primary account - go to windows services - stop “windows update service” - erase contents of folder: C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution - restart your computer - open windows app store, log in yourself - start xbox app (beta) - download gameBut it still wasn’t working. does anyone know how to fix this? maybe a monitor:point_right:

Edit: He somehow got it working. He tried downloading only Reach since we’re starting with that one and it apparently began installing all the mcc. I don’t know if it was the thing he did before but I ain’t complaining:)

Well let him download some of it then once it’s downloaded like 5-10 gb. As he has game pass so tell him to go to start search mcc. It will open even if its downloading if he has from game pass or ms store version. Go to options and career->setting->gameplay->change installed games-> there he will see that which game is installed,which is installing and which is yet to install. Tell him to uncheck the mark of the game he doesn’t wish to download then click accept selection ,back and yes
Just made an account so I could reply to GeneticFan72850, lol. Thank you so much, the method you provided helped clear the queue in the Microsoft Windows Store. Mine was glitched because I think I didn’t have enough storage space, but then I changed my installed games to another drive location and yet it was still glitched so idk. I see a lot of people are having similar problems and this is very frustrating as Halo should be better supported by Microsoft as Microsoft basically owns Halo… I couldn’t cancel the queue or re-download or even finish downloading the game, let alone know what the status of it was. Uninstalling the game after trying to magically find after it disappeared (or just never showed up, who knows) somehow didn’t work either. I even tried to delete the MSIXVC file after researching about the issue and had to change my permissions for the WindowsApps folder completely because it wouldn’t let me delete it. Very frustrating, so thanks once again! ~ <3!
