MCC Download and Install Stuck At 20% (of 59.1 GB)

Hey everybody,

I bought the Master Chief Collection earlier today on xbox.com, and now I’m downloading at home after installing the latest Xbox One update (roughly 2GB). The download finished in a few minutes, as I’m sitting on roughly 100Mb/s (12 MB/s) down.

The download for MCC started of quite fast at 8MB/s, but that came to a screeching halt at 20% and now it’s not really downloading at all. Nothing in the network changed, and it can clearly still connect to the internet.

I’ve tried pausing and restarting the download, but that didn’t help. So I’ve been stuck at 20% for almost an hour.

I’d really like to have the download finished by midnight tonight and start playing as soon as it’s available, but it looks like that might not be possible.

If anyone has any idea what I can do to help the download finish, I would really appreciate it.

Same thing for me, but at 9%.
I’ve tried pausing, playing another game, and a hard reset. Nothing works, still stuck at 9% for over three hours now.

I decided to cancel the download, uninstall the other Halo stuff (Nightfall and DLC skull thing), and start the download over again. It was the only way I could get it running, now at 2%.

It was downloading at 10 MB/s for two minutes and it stopped again. Damn.

I don’t think I’ll be playing MCC tonight.

Okay, it went to 6% and now we’re at 11%, then 15%. It’s downloading in short bursts spread out over 10 minutes.

MIne is now at 13%. I’m off to bed now. I hope it finishes before I wake up. I purchased Forza Horizon 2 this way (Download) and ran into the same issue of taking a long time to download.

Was at 20%, now it’s queued. What the heck’s happening?

EDIT: Nevermind, it’s still going.

Woke up and it was at 47%.
I’m hoping it will be done when I get home. Have my brother (He’s in College, thank God) checking on it while I’m at work. I’m hoping I can play when I get home. Otherwise I guess I’ll do an event on final fantasy xi. lol.

It’s just slow. Of course it is. Everybody and their Mother is trying to download the update at once.
