Nice idea however thinking more in to it, users would need a new AVR that supports Atmos and installation of more speakers. Not sure if the majority of gamers would be into that or can afford the cost.
Also I presume there is a some level or percentage that mainly uses gaming head sets rather then full surround sound speaker systems. I did back in the day when I first started gaming on 360. Nice and all, however since I got a head set, sounds are way better and enjoy the clarity of needing to hear sounds and foot steps in better detail when gaming online.
I presume that maybe on the next Halo version would be advantageous for 343 to maybe include Atmos if they can designed the sounds as well and include Atmos. I don’t believe 343 would be putting any extra sounds in to MCC currently. I would presume having to redue all the sound tracks and such would be a huge process. There trying to get current problems fixed. We hope.
