I recently bought an Xbox One with the Master Chief Collection bundle. While setting it up, I couldn’t find a code for the MCC. I later realized that it had been thrown out accidentally. I would like to know if there is a way I can get a new code. I did not redeem the code so the game is not in my Xbox. I have already asked GameStop and Microsoft Customer Services about this. GameStop lead me to Microsoft, and Microsoft here. If anyone knows the answer, please respond.
Unfortunately OP, I don’t think there is anything that can be done in this situation. As you bought th game from GameStop it’s really them that you’re contact is with and not Microsoft of 343, so it would be for them to offer you a replacement. If they, MS or 343 did do that, it would be a very generious offer on their part as it was your fault that you lost the code. I could only advise to take more case in the future when throwing out any game packaging - I always keep my stuff for a few months until I’m sure that I don’t need it anymore.
