I live in California, I have an awkward work schedule, and I get home at 1AM. When I look for matches in any gamemode I cant find any at all, and I do give it plenty of time. Can someone explain to me why I cant find matches after 1AM my time ? Will this problem get fixed ? Can anyone relate ? I’m really happy to see 343i actually giving the effort to fix this game but its hard to be involved when i literally cant play.
EDIT: Sorry for the late response guys, here my update:
I’m able to find matche now at that time, it takes forever to match on ranked but I can find matches more easily on social after midnight. Which i guess i shouldnt be playing competitive at that time either way. Thank you 343 for continuing to make halo great again, although there are still plenty of issues, im glad you guys are getting it

Any luck during the weekends / during normal hours 1pm -> 10pm?

I find matches very quickly during normal hours, it seems like i cant match with any person at all from 1am to 10am . And no i appreciate the participation, but i gotta ask, how do you set your console to regions or whatever ? Again thanks for the participation bro

It should be in the language settings.
Edit: It could be that you are just unlucky. Did you mean CA or CE servers btw?

Im in california, but yeah it might be the language setting because i have halo3 on japanese, ill try to change it back to the default. Ill let you know how it goes

If you open your Xbox’s network settings, what is your “Nat Type”? Open is best, Moderate is next best, and Strict is very bad, and Unavailable is the worst. NAT type can affect your ability to join matches with other players which could be preventing the matchmaking engine from matching you with other parties. Here is an Xbox support article about NAT:
