MCC bug. Need tech support

I have been having major problems with single player in MCC, and my last attempt to resolve it with Microsoft tech support resulted in being told to post on this site to get tech support from the developer. Problems I have had include achievements not triggering, and losing my campaign progress early on.

After losing my progress early in the Halo 2 campaign I decided to restart all campaigns by using the Master Chief Saga since I was missing the mission achievements for several Halo 1 missions. At that time those hugs were supposed to have been resolved. On this playthrough I have encountered several instances of missions failing to load or kicking me out to the xbox home screen mid-mission. However, they would usually resolve by quitting the game and restarting it. However, this did not resolve an issue where on the 2nd mission of Halo 4 I suddenly lost the HOD and a few controls stopped working. Since then, whenever I attempt to continue the playlist, the mission fails to load with the music buzzing and the console hangs until kicking me back to the home screen. No amount of reinstalling the game, restarting, and clearing cache will fix this issue. It has been ongoing for months with no help from Microsoft other than keep telling me to repeat the above steps. I’m afraid to do anything else in single player for fear of losing my playlist progress. I want to play and enjoy Halo as someone new to the franchise, but the majority of my owning MCC, it has been unplayable. Can anyone help me get it so that I can actually get the game to play?

I’m tired of being sent different places to keep being treated like an idiot who barely knows how to turn electronic devices on and off only to be told they don’t know why it doesn’t work. Please, someone help.

You clearly did not read my post. I said that I have done this multiple times along with clearing the cache on my console. None of this works.

I did read the post but I missed that part - apologies.

I’ll have to see if I can find it but I think I saw a post where someone suggested it’s actually the router causing issues. Any chance you can factory reset your router or double check the settings there?

I checked all of my router settings and cannot find an issue. I also don’t understand how the router would cause a problem with single-player.

After finding good evidence that attempting to play from the campaign menu will not interrupt the playlist, I decided to try to load the mission from that menu. Everything loaded perfectly. As I mentioned above, the mission first loaded just fine the very first time attempting it from the playlist but part way through I lost the HUD and any control beyond the thumbsticks and triggers. I think there must be something wrong with the playlist save data. Is there any way to see if this is a problem and correct it?

Is there any way to get support from someone at 343 industries?

Do they support their software at all?

I’ve had a similar experience with Microsoft.

Been requested to uninstall, and reinstall the game.
