Mcc broke my xbox :-(

I was just trying to get some matchmaking going. Played a H2A lockdown game, next round we voted on TS derelict. Right as the game finished the map loading screen the xbox rebooted and both our controllers started flashing that they were no longer synced. We can’t get them synced again. Now the Xbone just keeps rebooting every 5 minutes.

Yes, I have also had issues with my controller since the MCC release. No problems prior yet after I installed and while playing my controller randomly disconnects. Ibelieve it only happens with MCC but I might not have played it enough. It happened about 10 times total since Day One though I wouldn’t call it gamebreaking. I’m borrowing my friends controller to see if it works better but until then I wouldn’t mind knowing if anyone has had similar issues?

Well a complete power cycle got the controllers to connect. Now it’s going ‘we couldn’t get your latest saved data. Try again or use offline.’ :frowning: Trying again gives the same message.

The game didn’t break your console. There is an Xbox Live Service Alert right now. That’s most likely the reason why you’re having Xbox difficulties

Put new batteries in.

Turns out this was caused by the Azure server failure that also took down the Halo Waypoint website. Unfortunately the Xbox Live server status page still reported everything was up well into the time period when Waypoint was down. We got the console working with a power cycle but couldn’t report it here because the entire Waypoint site went down. Then we ended up with the error that our profile wouldn’t sync which made us think at first that the reboot corrupted our Live profile. Turns out the entire Microsoft Azure service went offline.
