I’ve owned an Xbox One and Halo MCC for about a week now.
The audio has been a big issue. Sometimes the audio is fine–however, it frequently goes through phases of high pitched squealing and static or no sound at all. I’ve only played about 4 hours, mostly online, and I notice it frequently while playing halo 2 classic.
I’ve done some troubleshooting such as using a different HDMI cord, streaming video from my laptop via HDMI, using the other HDMI port on the TV, resetting the xbox, and turning the TV on and off. I’ve also watched Netflix on my Xbox with no sound issues.
I believe my best course of action is to re-download the entire game, but I wanted some feedback before making that 12 hour commitment.
Has anyone had similar issues?
