Got the Cairo station and Your journey begins achievements from the MCC, but still do not have the Mark VI armor unlocks for Halo 5. I’ve gone to waypoint and can see the achievements as completed, but the armor does not appear on the website or in game as options to equip! Anyone got a fix for this or is 343 aware and working on this issue? Sounds like I’m not the only one!
I’m having similar issues I’ve completed all campaigns on legendary; and still haven’t gotten the award for armor in halo 5. The “Legend” achievement wont pop.
I seem to be having a similar problem with the MK VI [GEN 1], MK VI [GEN 1] Scared, Nightfall and Helioskrill armour sets. All four sets do show up in the customization menu but when I look at my collection both in-game and on HaloWaypoint they do not appear as unlocked
I’m having similar issues where as I completed the Cairo Station and got both the “Cairo Station” and the “Journey Begins” achievements and didn’t receive the Mark VI armor variants. Not sure whats going on.
Sure wish someone from 343 would jump in this thread for 2 seconds and give us a fix or acknowledgement. A little frustrating. I’ve tried Twitter and Facebook for support with. I responses. Ugh. Let me know if any of you guys get them to unlock and what you did. I know there are quite a few people with this very issue.
Got mine to show up just now. Went into MCC and was browsing the menu’s. Left the application open and opened Halo 5. Looked into my customization on Halo 5 and there they were. Hope this helps.

How many days did it take then for these to finally unlock for you??? Or did you have these achievements before Halo 5 release? Thanks for the update. I’ll have to try what you did.
Still waiting for the Teishin [Raikou] Helmet and Armor to unlock for playing the game before November 7th.
I think for the Teishon armor, we are to recieve a req pack some time after the 7th when that mini event ends. That’s normally how that works.
I’ve got Nightfall and Mark VI [Gen1] but I haven’t recieved Helioskrill.
I got the achievement roughly 1 month ago now.
I’ve contacted Microsoft support and they were absolutely useless.
Ok. So I tried what Ebonplague did. It worked. I got the achievements on a friends Xbox since I don’t own the MCC. So I went to his place, loaded up my profile again and started is MCC again. When it loaded, it synced my save data again. Just to be safe, I messed with the Spartan customization screen for a min. Left the game open and loaded halo 5. If you have a disc version of both, hopefully it still works. I really think this whole thing is tied to the save file for MCC, not just the achievements. I say that because I’ve had the achievements unlocked on my gamer tag and on waypoint for about 4 days now. Once my MCC save data synced to the cloud again, it worked. So try this gents and let us know if it works for you! Good luck. Still a pain in the a**.

I’m in the same situation. Can wear the armor set but not in my collection. I feel like we should have or hopefully will receive REQ packs with these items so they show in our collections. All other promotion items were given this way, via REQ packs, and didn’t simply show up in the customization menu.
MR WOOTASTIC - When you did this, did the armor sets show in both customization and collection or only customization like above?
I got the cairo station achievement and I did not get the mark vi scarred!!!
Oh crap. I see what your saying now. Just checked. This is another problem now. First I simply couldn’t get the armors to use them. Now, I have them, can use them, but they are not unlocking as part of my collection either. Still 6/175 for Helms when I should be 9/175 for example. My nightfall ones didn’t get added either.
I am not having that issue. My Nightfall and both Mark VI variants are showing up. I’ll try and test some things to see if I can make them disappear. Just to see whats causing these problems.
I’m getting tired of 343i still not responding to any of these threads.
Surely they could just check your profile, and tick some box that says you should have it.
Yeah it’s all the MCC armor sets and the Nightfall set this is happening with. Happy we found a workaround for those who have the achievements to get the sets to be in the customization menu, not to get a fix for them to show up in our collections. And yes, I’m sure there is a simple fix on 343’s end…it’s just a matter of when they will get around to it.
Any update on this? I still don’t have it in game or on my halo waypoint collection
