The HCS Pro Series ended for both MCC and H5 over the weekend, and to my knowledge there aren’t any plans to extend either series. Makes me wonder if there are any potential beta/flighting plans for Infinite coming up. Or at least if there’s anything to be announced about it to keep some halo hype up and running.
Additionally, the Insider Infinite monthly blog posts have all had a subject to them through last month’s blog update about audio. There hasn’t been any indication as to what this month’s blog could be about. Can’t get over excited but I’m hoping there’s some form of announcement regarding a flighting program or beta of some kind kicking off soon. It would be a shame to see the pro series die down and have nothing else for pros to play or get excited about to keep the interest in halo going. So fingers crossed we hear something substantial about Infinite soon.
I believe 343 said that this month’s Inside Infinite would be focused on the PC version, and with how the last couple have been done we’ll no doubt get some other teases from it as well.
That said, I don’t think we’re going to get anything truly huge just yet. E3 is closing in, and I would guess 343 are holding out until then to give out any major info like flighting details or release dates.
I hope they make another DLC or prize within halo 5 guardians so some weapons from Infinite are playable in warzone. Just imagine the possible options!
Disclaimer, I completely doubt this is going to happen.
I think it would be awesome if 343 had one day during E3 where there’s a mini Infinite MP tournament between 4 pro teams. Basically model it off the Sunday $5,000 H5 tourneys that have been going on for a long while now, but use it to advertise the Infinite multiplayer and esports scene.
My guess is they will probably show off Infinite multiplayer in May sometime, although I wouldn’t be surprised if they just wait until E3 in June. Whenever they do show off MP, they’ll probably start flights soon after within a month or so. They might do some kind of event during E3 where they let certain streamers or pros go hands on with the game to show it off which would be pretty cool.

It’s wild that we’re only two months away from yet another E3…
