Good evening Spartans,
Wanted to address an issue I’ve had in the past and seems to be a reoccurring issue on the PC port of the MCC regarding alt+tabbing. I have two monitors, so I tend to alt+tab a ton when playing games in general to join discord calls, listen to music, watch videos etc… I’ve come to an issue where when I am alt+tabbing, the MCC application will disappear from the task bar and aren’t able to click application again to get MCC back on the screen. Weird part is that the MCC application is still running and appears on the task manager. Stating that the program is still up and running. To the point that you can still hear the games music in the background but the game is no where to be found to boot up. Only way to re open game on steam is to reboot computer to get game to reopen.
Not sure if anyone’s had this issue before. The more annoying part is the fact one has to re boot PC to actually get steam to re open application. Again, not sure if this has been addressed in other forums but wanted to reach out to see if anyone else has experienced this issue.

Hey buddy,
If you check the “Guides” tab under Halo: The MASTER CHIEF Collection on Steam, you can find a guide that has “How to fix the alt tab disappearing bug” as its name. That should do the trick for you.

I’ve also had the problem of leaving the MCC screen to check other things. Another big issue for me is almost ever single match I play that’s about to finish, MCC just boots me out of the match and is SUPER annoying because I get banned for being BOOTED for no reason.
