Last week my progress was reset on several multiplayer based achievements:
The True King (250 KOTH Medals) - dropped from 90%+ to 38%+
Catch This (500 Grenade Kills) - dropped from 50%+ to 5%
Domination (100 Legendary Kills) - dropped from 25% to 2%
Double Troulble (250 Double Kills) - not sure what it was, but now its only 2%
Spree Master (100 Killing Sprees) - was 25%+, now its only 2%
Party Pooper (250 Killjoy Medals) - was 20%+, down to 2%
Planting a Flag (250 CTF Medals) - dropped from 45%+ to 22%
After researching a bit, I found others are experiencing the same issue:
I haven’t seen any acknowledgement from 343 that they are aware of the issue. It seems easy enough for 343 to correct as the in-game record still lists all the matchmaking MP medals I’ve collected.

I feel your pain. My earned progress hasn’t come back since it happened over 2 weeks ago. I saw another post about this just now, so I’m going to say yes, it is still a problem.
Mine reset today. My double trouble was at 62%, now it’s 8%. Catch this was at 19%, now it’s 8%. This is the second time that my achievement progress reset. 343, are you listening? Fix this! Give us our progress back!
Lol my domination achievement reset to 36% AND IT’S ALREADY BUGGY BECAUSE THE MEDALS DON’T REGISTER! Fix it guys quickly or remove the achievements come onnnnnnnnnn
This is happening over and over again, and it is really starting to become an insult. This should have been fixed long ago and not continuously happening!
Yeah so this happened to me today, I am only two freaking chievos away from having all the MCC achievements. However dominion keeps getting reset so I have to go back through and get more legendary medals than are needed. I was at 87% now I am at 13%. I have a total of 87 legendary medals which was working just fine yesterday, but no just because you updated the playlist it is now at 13%. sigh I just want to be done with this game. Like seriously they swapped my progress backwards literally. Instead of having 13% left I have 13% done.
This is the first time it happened to me today. I can’t say I’m thrilled about this. I was so close to so many, only to have it ripped away from me! I really hope this gets fixed soon!!
Went to bed Saturday with 60+/100 towards the Killing Spree Achievement and woke up with 1/100! Last night I went to bed with 237/250 King of Hill, 162/250 CTF, and 190+/250 Kill Joys, and woke up with 60/250 King of Hill, 45/250 CTF, and 7/250 Kill Joys!
All the wasting my of life having to play Paint Ball or Metal Madness trying to get the KotH, and CTF medals and it looks like I have to do it all again! Or finally getting those game modes, but on a Halo 3 map which doesn’t give the medals.
I can’t even hope the correct numbers are saved to my profile instead of there servers as The True King was on my closest to get list, but it’s gone there too! The 13 shy of True King is what really kills me! Once I got that I was going to return to Team Battle for a while as so far playing Halo 1 MP has been my favorite part of MCC on those rare times it gets voted for.
I may just take a break from the game all together. Why put in the work when they can toss it at the drop of a hat!
Well the other day I was playing and I had 36 Legendary medals which is 36% and when I signed in the next day it said I only had 24 legendary medals and 24%. Now today I signed on and I had 236 killjoys so I only needed 14 more! and it reset to only having 4 killjoys and 1%. This is so frustrating. I finally looked up the problem and found this forum and see that there are a lot of you having the same issue. Has 343 put out a timetable of when they think this is going to be fixed? I mean the medals are still there when you look at your career medals so it seems like its a real easy fix. I am worried my 2100 assists are going to reset any day. All these medals have taken months and months of playing legit to get and it is very frustrating for these to be reset.
Back in Halo 4 there were a solid 6 DLC achievements that were glitched. It took 343 alomost a year but one day I signed on and all of the achievements popped. Hoping that 343 will get this fixed soon, but looking at the date of the top comment, I am discouraged.
If anyone could reply with an update about a possible fix that’d be great, thanks.
Good luck waiting for a fix, my first multiplayer achievement resets were back in February, still no help what so ever, since then they have all reset 5 times, thankfully got a couple in between resets, but I’m finished trying to get the mcc achievements.
Mine reset as well! and I have a friend who’s reset the same time. down to 15% on grenade kills, 13% on legendary medals, and 2% on killjoys. All were above 50% before! what the hell’s up with this reset for so many people over the past day or two? this has really made me not want to continue playing halo. I was already only really playing it to finish off the achievements.
+1. Some of the achievements require a lot of time (250 killjoys?, for example) and get your progress erased one time and another keeps damaging the joy of play Halo.
I hope that the game could check the progress at least every time you get another medal of that type and still don’t get the achievement. Please, 343.
