Idk why there isn’t more of a community outrage about this, I love the fact I dropped 30 bucks on maps I never get to play. I scan the forum and its all about weapon spawns, and sprint and slayer pro and little tweaks.
How about the issue that involves real life dollars and their apparent status as a donation to 343.
Short of giving the maps away, Im not sure much could be done. At this point though, I would prefer that they were given away, then at least I would get to play them.
Perhaps a deep discount could re-spark some interest, otherwise I think we are just out of luck on this one.

Then you’ll be pleased to know something like that is actually going to be implemented! They are putting select DLC playlists on rotation, now.
I love the DLC playlist and being able to play majestic all I want again is awesome but now I want to play castle maps and I rarely see those. However I don’t think the developer can do anything about that as long as the population is still so poor.
I honestly think that Halo 3 was the last time maps made sense. It was NECESSARY to buy the maps or you couldn’t play ranked. It’s nice that they made it so people didn’t have to buy maps but I don’t see this system of not buying them working. I don’t get to play dlc nearly enough.
I’d rather in the future them focus on different dlc instead of maps or not release it all so quickly. I like a quality maps but it is a point with forge, people make some really good maps, I’d rather see really interesting ones in matchmaking over getting dlc maps.
I think 343 makes some nice maps but I think map dlc has lost its place in being something fun to buy and have and be excited for.
They do make nice maps so if they find a way to play them and please everyone, that’d be great.
The DLC playlist is a great idea. Finally getting the achievements from Majestic I couldn’t get before. Some really nice 4v4 maps in that map pack.
DLC playlist is great. Only wish I could find them in regular playlists too. One of the short comings every halo game with dlc has had yet other games seem to integrate dlc maps into regular playlists a lot easier.
well that was amazing. Complaint solved. Also , extra points for Majestic, all i wanted was to play skyline.
They show up fairly often in CTF from about 9pm-12pm EST.
Oddly enough after voting they dont come up often, I literally got one in Action Sack within 30 seconds of voting!
I’m around 2,000 kills into the 3,000 kill monthly challenge - maybe 80 to 100 games. I can’t recall seeing one map of DLC in Multi Team, Infinity Slayer, Regicide, Rumble Pit or Action Sack.
I looked at the DLC clauses under an electronic microscope. It says you are only allowed 2 weeks playtime. Anything over that is just gravy.
They come up all the freaking time when I play. Tried Regicide, and it came up Majestic. It ended up on Landfall, but there were few players. I’m playing the non-Slayer sutff, so maybe that’s it.

Almost never. It’s so sad.
I have only played 2 of the new maps and only a few times ever.
The other maps I havent even got to play in matchmaking.
I’m telling you guys play CTF. I had games on Monolith, Landfall, and Perdition tonight out of I think 6 games.
I’ll believe they’re adding them back in when I see it happen. Reach had some great dlc maps, and you hardly ever saw them anymore at the end. The only way to fix the problem permanently would be to make the maps required after a certain period of time but it’s unlikely that they’ll ever do this. 343 wants as many people to buy and play the game as possible. They don’t care what the people who have been playing since the very beginning want, which is why they’ll never add Objective Big Team or make having the dlc mandatory.
