Did anyone read the noble team bios underneath their armor in the Memories of Reach page on waypoint. All of the armors have a little description of their respective noble team member above the descriptions of the armor pieces themselves. Each summary lists the fate of the noble team member discussed, Emile KIA, Kat KIA, Jun survived serving in the new Spartan program. However, Jorge’s description doesn’t mention his fate. Maybe its just meant to reference the fact that Spartan 2’s don’t die (they just go MIA) but Jorge is the only dead member of noble team whose death wasn’t seen. He was sucked into slip-space, but when you think about it, so did the master chief at the end of halo 3, and he’s just fine. Maybe I’m just insane, but do you think 343 is hinting that Jorge may not be gone for good?
He’s dead.He took his helmet off and was sucked into the infinite number of dimensions that make up slipspace - none of which contain air.Even if the vacuum didn’t kill him, whatever warping direct exposure to slipspace would have caused would also lead to his demise.And the Chief didn’t go through slipspace.The portal collapsed half way on the Dawn leaving Chief to drift towards Requim for 8 years.And he was also in a ship designed to be able to go through slipspace.
