Has there been any explanation as to how Maya was declared dead by BB at 1534 MST Oct 28, 2552 in HTT S2 yet her brain was harvested, turned into an AI, placed on a chip and delivered to Serin Osman in Sydney on the morning of Oct 28 according to Rossbach’s World?

The only thing I can think of is that morning in Sydney isn’t necessarily morning in MST (I haven’t been able to find any canon that correlates MST with any specific Earth time zone). But even so I don’t see how the AI could be created and delivered so quickly.

Good catch. A simple explanation is that it’s a mistake. But if we want to have it fit with lore, I’d say that the time zones are just different between worlds, even to the point of being off by days or weeks. As a side note, I really liked that Fall of Reach included Zulu time in the chapter headings. That’s a standardized military clock that can be used no matter where you are.
