Some people have stated that the challenges aren’t counting their progress towards them. This is just one issue with these challenges. I think that the challenges are a very good idea, but they absolutely should not be the only way to progress.
The free rewards from the event passes are made almost useless without challenge swaps. I’ve used up all my challenge swaps and won’t be getting any more for a while. The only reason I was able to get the Electric Bubblegum armor coating before the Cyber Showdown event ended was because I hadn’t used any of my Challenge Swaps at the time. This is a sign that maybe there should be more ways to level up passes (both Battle and Event).
I suggest that we level up passes by doing the objective or playing a certain number of matches. This is basically what the challenges are doing already, but more accessibly. I think this would help many people have an incentive to keep playing.
I also thought of kills to level up passes, but then I realized that that would cause people to go for the kill instead of the objective, so I thought against it. Another suggestion could be getting medals.
